Leaving high school in 1963 to attend General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan, I never thought that I would one day be the owner of a large electrical company serving Fortune 500 companies.

However, my college years and field experience as a member of Local #58, IBEW, gave me the insight to know what was expected of a prime vendor to industrial giants. And so Superior Electric Great Lakes Company was founded in 1991. Since then, my associates and I have taken precepts defined by our customers and made them the cornerstone of our business model. Service to customers is our company mantra. That means we will always work hard to provide exactly what our customers need. Projects are not always easy, but when times are difficult, we adhere to the code of the warrior: Adapt. Innovate. Overcome. And we do.
