Good Afternoon, Team. I am very proud to announce that for the 2nd year in a row, Superior Electric Great Lakes Company has won the Detroit Free Press Top Places to Work. The event was held at the Royal Oak Music Theatre last evening to announce the rankings. SE ranked 8th out of 112 companies in the small companies group. Last year, we placed 13th out of 90 companies. This is a significant jump in our rankings considering the number of companies in this category. Some interesting notes:
• Overall, 54 new companies won this year.
• A record 225 companies earned this recognition based on employee survey results.
• Over 100,949 employees participated in the survey process.
• For 2023, 6,698 companies were invited to participate.
There is also more to celebrate. This year, the Top Places to Work recognized companies with Specialty Awards in 7 Categories. I am thrilled to announce that out of the 225 Top Places to Work winners, Superior Electric was awarded the “BENEFITS” Specialty Award for YOUR comments and ratings of our benefits!!! I could not have been prouder to accept this award on behalf of our Company.
