Flint
This project was an 850,000 sq. ft. body shop, constructed North of the existing GM Stamping Plant. The new facility was attached to the stamping plant via a connector building, as well as to the existing assembly plant by way of an overhead conveyor structure. The new body shop included a full administration office with cafeteria/locker rooms, as well as a newly constructed central utility building, housing chillers for tempered air.
