Summary: This project was similar to the GM M5 Production Improvement in Flint, MI. There were (5) total sites – We engineered all 5 sites and were awarded the electrical for both of the sites we bid. At Fort Wayne, the project included expansion of the existing plant to include a North & South Logistics center, General Assembly area and the largest body shop that GM has ever built to date. It also included all of the site electrical that included the additional site light poles around the new structures, added truck docks to the new structures as well as to the existing building, a new bottle storage area and a new bulk refrigerant system. All of this work was completed while that plant was still in production. We scheduled and planned outages when needed.
